Judy West
North Little Rock District Court - Traffic Division

Judy has worked for the North Little Rock District Court - Traffic Division for 23 years. She has been the Chief Clerk for 14 years. During her tenure with District Court, she had the pleasure of working for 3 different judges named Morley; Judge Dean Morley (father,) Judge Steve Morley (Son) and Judge Randy Morley (Son.)

Judy was nominated for this honor by Judge Randy Morley for her exemplary service. Judy has also put in many hours serving on the Association’s Executive Board and committees. She is currently serving as Parliamentarian and on the following committees: certification committee, as chair of the constitution & by-laws committee; the audit committee; the APERS committee; a special advisor to the legislative committee; and as a liaison to the District Court Task Force. Judy has also been a mentor to many court clerks all over the State.

Judy has been married to Jim for 36 years. They have two children, Chandra, age 31 and James, age 17. Chandra is married and has given Judy two grand-children, a grand-son that is 7 years old and a grand-daughter that is 1 year old. Judy and Jim spent their first year of marriage in Las Vegas, since Jim was stationed at Nellis AFB. They celebrated their second honeymoon in Hawaii and hope to visit Las Vegas again soon, possibly as a third honeymoon. Judy enjoys arts and crafts and working with silk flowers to make wreaths and swags. She evens sell some of her work at the local craft shows.
